Some cell extractions carry a higher risk profile than others, and a standard capture shield isn’t always enough. The CS-5 Riot Shield delivers the same control-focused design as our CS-4 capture shield, with a foam pad on the concave surface for holding friction and two-person operation for extra holding power but adds .250″ thick construction with a V-50 fragmentation rating for elevated-risk situations. Dielectric handles prevent electrical pass-through during Taser incidents, and at 24″x36″ and 10 lbs, the CS-5 provides real coverage while staying manageable for coordinated team control. This is cell extraction protection built for the situations that call for more than standard capture capability.
