THEATRE Protective ballistic shields were early in the industry to achieve ASTM verification at the RF1 protection level. This standard establishes more demanding ballistic performance requirements compared to legacy test protocols. Verification includes a minimum 19-shot test sequence, including required clustered impacts, to validate real-world threat resistance. All shield components are additionally evaluated following thermal shock, water submersion, and extreme temperature exposure to confirm consistent protective performance under operational conditions.
